In BJP organisation takes decisions, not individuals: Advani

MORENA (MP): In a veiled attack on Congress, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani on Saturday said that an individual doesn't prevail in his party (BJP), rather the organisation takes the decision.
"In our party, an individual doesn't prevail, rather the organization takes the decision. This was not the case in the other parties," Advani told an election meeting.
"Our party don't attach importance to individuals, rather the organization was of paramount importance to the BJP," he added.
The senior BJP leader said that the Left parted its ways with Congress earlier, now other allies too were deserting it in the run up to the general elections.
He said that they ran a coalition government at the Centre but did not compromise on the important issues of the country. "However, this was not the case with the UPA's government," he added.
He charged the UPA government of pushing the plans of Atal Behari Vajpayee-led former NDA government, in connection with the four-lane roads and river linking projects, into a cold storage.
Advani said that the BJP alone stands for the cause of the nation while the other parties were doing the politics of caste and other things.
Praising the Ladli Laxmi Yojana of Madhya Pradesh government, he said that if the NDA comes to power at the Centre, it would implement the this scheme for the girl child across the country.
